Compare scans
See what is new, fixed, regressed, or unchanged between two scans.
What it is for
Compare picks a Baseline scan (reference) and a newer completed scan on the same domain, then summarizes differences.
When to use it
- You remediated issues and want proof of improvement.
- You need a change summary between two completed runs.
How to do it
Step 1 — Open Compare
Go to Compare in the Review group.
Step 2 — Select two scans
Choose Baseline scan (reference) and Compare with (newer scan). Both must be completed and ready.
Step 3 — Read the delta
Review new, fixed, regressed, and unchanged findings. Use Refresh if lists look incomplete. Agency filters on this page are local to Compare.
Good to know
- Compare is different from the optional Change vs previous run block inside a single report.
- If the capability is not enabled on your environment, see Feature not available.
Common problems
I cannot select a scan.
Wait until both scans are completed, ensure they share the same domain, then Refresh.
