Scan only systems you are allowed to test.
What it is for
Every scan requires you to confirm authorization. The product reminds you Authorized targets only and links to the authorized scanning policy.
When to use it
- Before your first scan.
- When onboarding a new hostname or client asset.
How to do it
Step 1 — Confirm ownership or permission
Only test systems you own or for which you have explicit authorization.
Step 2 — Read the policy
From the scan form, open Read the authorized scanning policy (also available under Legal).
Step 3 — Attest on each scan
Check the authorization checkbox before Start scan. Without it, the app blocks the start.
